DropSee is designed to open supported 3D files in your browser without uploading them to our servers.

Your files stay local

When you select a supported file, your browser reads and displays it on your device. DropSee does not upload the file to create the 3D view. File contents, file names, and model geometry are not sent to Google Analytics or advertising services.

Analytics choices

Google Analytics 4 loads only if you select “Allow analytics.” It helps us understand visits and product interactions, such as the file format opened, a broad file-size range, and performance timing. It may also process standard browser and device information and approximate location derived from your IP address. We disable Google Signals and do not send file names, file contents, geometry, or raw error messages.

Your choice is stored in your browser under dropsee-consent-v1. Use the “Privacy choices” button at any time to change it, or clear DropSee site data in your browser.

Advertising status

DropSee includes a Google AdSense publisher-verification meta tag and an ads.txt record. These confirm site ownership; DropSee does not currently load the AdSense advertising script or show ads. Before ads are activated, we will update this notice and use a Google-certified consent platform where required.

Retention and viewer delivery

The viewer does not keep a copy of your model after you close or reload the page. A PNG preview is generated locally and downloaded only when you request it. Viewer libraries are served from DropSee.net, and your selected file is not included in those network requests.
